Girl, you have fallen’ into some big ole holes, and I know how much it has hurt you.
I know you can barely breathe down there in your pursuit of “all there is”- down there gasping to create a relationship that validates you, unraveling in a job-change you thought would define you (but is attacking your beliefs about humanity), in the arduous pursuit of sustainable health insurance.
But you will get another opportunity to choose soon. Really.
In about 5 months you won’t need to keep cranberry juice in the fridge for your vodka and you won’t need to workout twice a day to keep your butt from blowing up because of the chocolate chip cookie dough.
One thing I learned from you is to state my desired outcome like I know for certain it will happen.
Stamp these in your belly.
Life is precious.
What always amazes me is that we get so many chances to be who we want to be.
Regret isn’t necessary.
You are not going to make a bad decision.
So every time you decide something, be as bold as brass. It all fits somewhere.
Recently, the promises of the Law of Attraction have started to get on my last nerve.
The LoA has become a die-hard STRATEGY taught to get folks to ride the fast train to the acquisition of their goals– to be able to attract new, SHINY, super-sized STUFF like cars, jobs, tight BODs, mates, six-figures…
Recently, I’ve heard tons of folks complaining they’re not seeing their fortunes delivered, all wondering what they’re doing wrong!
Nothing. Except you must add the real work:
Way before I was ever introduced to this LoA tool to rev up luck,
I used plain ole day-dreaming.
And there was no TRY attached to it.
I just envisioned movies of myself doing my dream.
I wasn’t TRYING to attract it.
I never TRIED to align with it.
I never TRIED anything.
I BEHAVED and prepared for it to happen without fail,
and with faith enough to hurdle fear and suffocate the sound of crows.
To be extremely honest, I probably sounded and looked crazy to folks. I remember people giving me that peculiar look, like “you poor child..”
Now, I believe it’s totally mad-crazy to hatch a nest of excuses why you can’t do the things your heart burns for, and it’s a travesty to imagine awakening 10 years from now in your skin soiled with regret.
Whatever you are doing right now, shows what you really and truly have FAITH in.

Back from summer.
Back from creating and revising the my beLOvedBODy fitness programs.
Back to school, this life-school.
And me-feels bubbled up with curiosity and desire to learn and experience as much as an existence can.
So many of us, including the teachers who had the summer off and the mamas who get extra help with the kids from daytime summer camps, lose their weekly workout and self-care rituals during this time of year.
Let’s return to productive, healthy habits to fulfill our curious souls. Let’s WAKE UP.

I’ve started THE ALMOST MOON by Alice Sebold of THE LOVELY BONES and DYING TO BE ME by Anita Moorjani this week!
This has been a frickn challenging goal in the past, especially during times when I’m working a lot.
I’m starting small with the 2-book goal. By January, I hope to make it a 3-book-a-month thang.
My goal is to do 2 sets of 5 chin ups two times per week AND to master the HANDSTAND by JANUARY 2015.
I plan to sit quietly or pray for 10 minutes EVERY DAY.
I also plan to read my FAV spiritual text – The SCIENCE OF MIND by Ernest Holmes and listen to MICHAEL BERNARD BECKWITH 2 times per week.

Explore your curiosities and fears.
Make your goals ACHIEVABLE! Let them be goals that you CAN accomplish given your real-life schedule,
even if it means shifting things around a bit.
